Start with the free tier
Spark's pricing page lists Free, Plus at $10 monthly or $99 yearly, and Pro at $20 monthly or $199 yearly as checked in October 2026. Otto Plus is $6.99 a month and Otto Pro is $19.99/month. Its Free plan includes unlimited accounts and calendar. Otto Free covers one connected Gmail or Outlook account with core mail, calendar, tasks and an AI allowance.
Different daily workflows
Spark is strong at bringing many mail accounts into one client, with AI and collaboration on paid plans. Otto adds tasks for the selected account and an assistant that can prepare replies, meeting options and follow-ups. Where enabled, Otto's sender screening, bundles and focus delivery help decide what deserves attention. Spark advertises some future automation as coming soon; compare the controls available in your current plan rather than counting those as shipped.
Choose Spark if broad free account coverage is the deciding factor. Choose Otto if the work that starts in a thread should move into a task, a meeting or a reviewed outcome.
