Open Work from the side rail or mobile Spaces menu. Capture a promise yourself, or check an open message for suggestions. A suggested promise does not become accepted work until you review its quoted evidence, owner and due date. Mailbox-wide suggestion detection is a separate opt-in; it starts with new mail after you enable it, including promises you send.
Use Waiting on me, Waiting on others and Unassigned for active accepted work. All also keeps suggestions and closed items available. Responsibility is not the same as status: an item owned by someone else can still be in progress. A source edit marks evidence stale for review; it does not silently replace your decision or reopen completed work.
Free users can review and remove existing items after a downgrade. Preparing new work needs an eligible plan and the Work gate. See for the next step.
