Snippets and prompt templates
FreeReuse finished writing in compose, and reusable instructions in chat.
Snippets contain message text you reuse, such as an introduction or support answer. Manage them in Settings → Mail; while composing, type / to search and insert one. Give snippets distinct titles or shortcuts so similar responses are easy to distinguish.
A snippet can include variables such as {{first_name}}. Review replacements and unresolved placeholders before sending. Inserting a snippet changes the draft; it does not send it.
Prompt templates are reusable instructions for Otto, not email bodies. Use the template controls in chat to save and reuse instructions such as “Summarize decisions and next steps.” Templates still run through normal AI agreement, context and usage rules.
Personal snippets belong to you. Team snippets belong to the selected organization and follow its editing permissions; check scope before editing shared wording. Capacity depends on the effective plan shown in settings. Snippet insertion is separate from AI rewrite usage.
