Act on thousands at once

Select a page, then choose Select all matching to act on the full search or folder. The loaded message count is a preview, not the size of the whole search. Otto discovers matching message IDs in the background without downloading all message bodies. The exact count becomes available after discovery; a plan limit is shown explicitly if it stops the job short.

You can also ask Otto to “delete all newsletters from the last six months.” It prepares one bulk confirmation for that search. Ordinary deletion moves mail to Trash; permanent deletion needs an explicit request and cannot be undone. Confirm the mailbox, search and action before continuing.

Once queued, close the chat or continue working. Activity shows discovery, progress, completion, cancellation and failures. A queued job is not a completed action. Cancel stops remaining work; it does not undo messages already changed.

Gmail uses its multi-message modify/delete endpoints. Outlook uses provider-supported batches and observes per-operation throttling. Supported actions and search conditions differ by provider; unsupported combinations report an error instead of processing only the loaded page.

Bulk actions are available on Free, with larger per-job and daily limits on Plus and Pro. Limits apply to the full operation, and Otto tells you when more matches remain.
