Shared team inbox
TeamWork a support@ or sales@ address together — assign threads, leave private notes, see who's replying, and never double-reply.
A team mailbox in Otto is just a normal connected account — support@, sales@, hello@ — that your whole team works together. Connect it once, share it with your team, and everyone acts through it; the customer just sees "support@ replied", while Otto tracks who actually did what.
Open any conversation and the collaboration tools sit right above it: assign it to a teammate (or tap Auto to give it to whoever's least busy), set its status (open / pending / closed), and watch threads you care about. A live "X is replying" indicator means two people never answer the same email. Leave internal notes with @mentions that only your team sees — never the customer.
How to use it
- 1Create a team. Settings → Team → Create a team. You're the owner; invite teammates by email.
- 2Share a mailbox. In the Organization panel, share a connected account so the whole team can work it.
- 3Assign & note. Open a thread, assign it, set a status, and @mention a teammate in a private note.
