Share notes — a copy, an email, or a link
FreeSend a note to anyone by email address, or publish a read-only page. People on Otto get it right in their notes.
A note is more useful when other people can read it. Tap Share in any note and pick how: Edit together invites people into the note itself (see Edit together); the other two send it out.
Send a copy. Type email addresses (up to 20 at once) and an optional message. Otto takes care of delivery: people who use Otto find the note straight in their notebook, and everyone else gets an email from your own mailbox with the note in it and a link to save it to Otto. You never have to know who's on Otto, and nobody else learns it either.
A copy is a snapshot. Edits you make afterwards stay yours, and images come along without using anyone's storage twice. Notes from people you've emailed with, or from teammates, land in the notebook right away; anything from someone new shows up as a request you can save, decline or block.
Publish a link. Turn on a read-only page anyone can open, no account needed. Copy it, share it from your phone, and turn it off whenever you like. Edits show up there within a minute. On Pro, a link can turn itself off after a day, a week or a month.
From an email. When someone sends you a note, the message shows a Save this note to Otto button. If you join Otto from a shared link, the note is waiting in your notebook.
Sharing copies and links is free on every plan. You can share with up to 20 people a day on Free, 100 on Plus and 300 on Pro.
