Sound and haptic feedback

Open Settings → Alerts → Sound & haptics to adjust sound cues and vibration feedback. Preview a sound before selecting it; turn cues off when you prefer a quiet interface.

Custom notification sounds are uploaded audio files stored with your account. Follow the size and duration checks shown by the uploader. Deleting a custom sound removes its saved file; account export includes its download reference.

Haptics depend on device support. Desktop browsers may have no vibration capability, and mobile operating systems can silence notification audio independently of Otto. Quiet hours, focus mode and notification permission affect delivery. A sound is feedback, not proof that a mail or calendar action completed—check the action's result.
